a warm Welcome to SALT HAVEN
Welcome to SALT HAVEN - a small but perfectly formed interior design studio covering London, Dorset and the South West. I create deeply personal, restorative homes for busy professional women who desire somewhere to return back to that completely holds them. It would be my honour to create that together.
FOR a home that feels like an extension of you
With a busy and demanding life, home needs to be somewhere that you can drop all expectations of the outside world - somewhere that you can return back to who you truly are.
Your ideal home supports you so completely that it’s hard to leave.
Thoughtfully designed to last, a place to close the door on everything that’s asked of you. Your shoulders drop and you feel completely, utterly at home.
uncovering your home’s full potential
Every house and apartment has its own, often unrealised, potential – something special waiting to be revealed.
Bringing that possibility to life enables a home to fully perform the role we need it to – to cocoon us from the outside world and replenish our reserves.
Practising restraint in the design of a home allows its bones to shine through. Whilst having a focus on materials that come from nature provides a deep sense of connectedness and primitive grounding in the space.
Take a look at some of my work
Salt Haven has never just been about interior design. The ultimate aim has always been to deliver something that allows a harmonious, restorative balance in the lives of the people I work with. I have an instinctive ability to connect with both the human and the place to do justice to the building whilst creating a true sanctuary for the person who lives within it
-Jane McCarthy, Founder of Salt Haven
If I can create some space that people haven't experienced before and if it stays with them or gives them a dream for the future, that's the kind of structure I seek to create.
